The world’s largest fully integrated network of independent Insurance Brokers reflects on a transformative 2017.
The Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) – the world’s largest fully integrated network of independent Insurance Brokers – has reflected on a transformative 2017 with the launch of its Annual Review.
“Disruption” entered the WBN lexicon in a big way in 2017. The report states that the shift towards technology, disruptive or otherwise, must be harnessed to enable WBN members to achieve their future vision and retain a competitive edge. A sentiment that AFL wholeheartedly agrees with.
AFL is a proud WBN member – a network which collectively handles over $50 billion in premiums and counting. As the largest independent broker network in the world, the WBN is focused on innovative ways to mitigate the effects of the current disruptive landscape. The report states that disruption creates a break in the established order, and in the worlds of insurance and employee benefits, this disruption is being driven by dramatic shifts in demographics, regulations, and technology.
The 2017 Annual Review contains many insights garnered after a packed year of events.
